Watched Justice League. Went to the movies with Ricky and Corey on Friday night. Enjoyed the show a lot. I would recommend it to be seen.
Been starting to go here more, however, don't care for staff interrupting movie to go around demanding, "turn off your phone." Never had that happen in any theater. Was very put off by it. If you must, have staff enter before the movie and make this announcement. Also, I must keep phone on for home/business reasons so sorry. I get that you are worried about copyrights but there's none of that here. I will keep on silent but may not return to this theater.
I used to love coming here but as of late the experience is severely lacking. The theater is starting to show it's lack of upkeep. In the main large theater the fabric at the top of the movie screen is tattered and ripped, it hangs down in view of the screen. The carpet in the place looks dirty and could use a good cleaning. The female manager is always rude and ALWAYS has this expression on her face like she would rather be anywhere else but there! More than once I've had to go to the front desk and ask them to expand the movie so it fills the whole screen....how do they not know how to use their equipment by now?
Excellent theater since the remodeling. Service at the front desk is fast, and friendly. Their prices are a lot better than going to AMC in Johnson Creek.
It's little things like this that are going to kill this theater, especially now that moviepass is in the game. I prefer to go to the megaplex in Sun Prairie now because the experience here is no longer special. You guys need to maintain your theater more and raise the price a dollar if need be to generate more money to fix the place up or else you're going to lose the place forever.
I LOVE our Towne Cinema right here in Watertown! It not only has the newest releases but also shows older seasonal & holiday films as well. The staff & management are professional, welcoming & always have time to give or hear a quick movie critique! They contribute their time & resources to help & better our community & they will ALWAYS have my business & support!
